With just one month to go until Borderway Agri Expo on Friday 30th October, there’s plenty happening here at Borderway! We’ll be keeping in touch each week with the latest news as we count down to the big day.

David Thomlinson Award: Nominations Close Tomorrow
Do you know someone who has made an outstanding contribution to the livestock industry?
There’s still time to nominate them for the David Thomlinson Lifetime Achievement Award, but please be quick: nominations close tomorrow, Friday 2 October.

Livestock Entries Are In!
Livestock entries have now closed, and we’re delighted to report that overall numbers are up on last year.
From our commercial cattle and sheep classes to the National Calf Shows, including the new British Limousin and British Charolais shows, there’s plenty to look forward to.
A big thank you to everyone who has entered stock. I’m sure there’s plenty of preparation going on behind the scenes already, and we know how much time and care goes into getting your animals ready. We can’t wait to see them in the ring and our judges will certainly have their work cut out!
Trade Stands Full, but there’s Still Room in the Gift Ring
We’re welcoming more trade stands than ever this year, and the trade stand area is now fully booked.
With exhibitors covering livestock genetics, machinery, technology and the organisations supporting farming, there will be plenty to see and discuss. It’s a great chance to catch up with suppliers, explore new ideas and do business.
We do still have a small number of spaces in our Gift Ring. If you sell gifts, crafts or other suitable products, or know someone who does, please get in touch. We’d love to hear from you.
