The silage competition is reserved for beef and sheep farmers
It is open to anyone in a postcode area of CA, LA, DL, TS, SR, DH, SR, NE, YO, HG, BD, BB, TD, DG
The competition is divided into three categories

Only one entry per farm.
Entry is free of charge
The judging will be in three stages:-
Stage 1:
Chemical analysis. All entries should be sent to Andrew Nelson, no later than the 9th of October by email to [email protected]

Entries from Stage One will be reduced to three finalists in each class.
Stage 2:
The finalists will be judged on farm.
Stage 3:
On the day of Agri Expo the judge will deliver their report and announce the winners.
